Sought Limited (“we” or “our”) is committed to protecting the privacy of your personal information and is required to comply with the Privacy Act 2020 (“Privacy Act”).

This policy outlines your rights in relation to your personal information and how we collect your personal information, process it and other uses of your personal data when you access our Mobile App and Website (for the purpose of this Privacy Statement both and each referred to as the “website”). Other policies may apply instead of or in addition to this Privacy Policy in certain circumstances.
By using and/or accessing our Website www.sought.co.nz and Mobile App (Android and IOS) to access use of the Information and Services, you will provide your personal information to us. By disclosing your personal information to us you authorise and give us your consent to handle your personal information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time and for any reason. Any updates will be notified on our Website. You should ensure that you familiarise yourself with the most current version as any changes will apply from the date the updated Privacy Policy is uploaded onto our website.

For example where we use a third party service provide to host the personal information we collection from you, our agreement with that third-party service provider protects the personal information that we collect from any unauthorised use. A business that supports our services and products may be located outside of New Zealand. This may mean that your personal information is held and processed outside of New Zealand.

The Privacy Act gives you the right to access information held about you by us. You may do this by do so by sending through a request to the Privacy Office (information below) if you believe any information is inaccurate, incomplete, out of date, irrelevant or misleading.
Generally, we will provide you with access, except where the Privacy Act permits us to deny access.
We will respond to your request within 20 working days of the day on which the request is received.
